Anthony, Jace, and I went over to my parent's house tonight for dinner. My mom doesn't like cooking, so whenever we go over there I'm the one making dinner unless my dad grills something. I don't really mind it since there are always plenty of people to help watch Jace.
I decided to try out a new recipe I had on the menu for this week. I found it on Pinterest of course and it looked so yummy! The original post where I got the recipe from can be found here.
Ingredients
- 4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 4 garlic cloves, minced (I didn't have garlic cloves so I just subbed 1tbs minced garlic)
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons olive oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 500°F and lightly grease a casserole dish.
- In small sauté pan, sauté garlic with the oil until tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar.
- Place chicken breasts in a prepared baking dish and cover with the garlic and brown sugar mixture.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake uncovered for 15-30 minutes.
This was an easy peasy recipe to make, not to mention the family loved it! I served it with a house salad, garlic breadsticks, mac n' cheese, and green beans.
What are some of your favorite chicken recipes?
